The hopes and fears piled onto "True Detective" season two are enormous. Many couldn’t get their heads around the casting (Vince Vaughn? Taylor Kitsch?) and are wondering how the show could top the instant classic first season. Well, put those fears aside. The first teaser for the second season is here and it brings change, which is a good thing.
Perhaps the biggest difference is that the one-director formula of season one is gone: Nic Pizzolato and co. have long said this was to speed up the production process as a series is a lot to handle for one director. So what does this mean? You’re getting season two much sooner than you thought —it starts on June 21st.
So enough talk. The first teaser trailer is below. Hit the comments section after watching and let us know what you think.
