Someone in the marketing department is hopefully getting a raise for this idea. Granted, I’m not usually the first person to run out and cheer for synergized corporate marketing, but I gotta respect it when it’s this clever. With a big summer ahead of them, Disney has decided to use their already huge hit "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" to help get their word out about Pixar‘s "Inside Out."
And so, here you have the characters of the animated movie — each of which, if you need reminding, represents a different emotion — checking out the trailer for "Avengers: Age Of Ultron." It’s cute stuff and an effective double whammy that allows Disney to advertise two movies at once, cross-promote brands, and just make a bigger footprint overall, one that will get significantly larger later this year with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
