Watch: Elizabeth Banks Takes The 'Walk Of Shame' In First Trailer

Walk Of Shame

The infamous walk of shame, the always awkward getaway from a random hookup, has been seen in more than a few movies over the years. But in the upcoming and appropriately titled “Walk Of Shame,” that morning after exit is just the start of what turns out to be a helluva trip for one woman.

First slated to be released last fall before getting pushed to this spring, Elizabeth Banks takes center stage in the movie, with the first trailer arriving today. And thus, you’ll see Banks play an aspiring reporter who is left stranded in downtown Los Angeles without a car, phone, ID or money, after a one night stand with a stranger (James Marsden). The twist? She’s got only 8 hours to get to the job interview of her life, one that could hold the key to fulfilling her dreams of becoming a network news anchor.

On the one hand, we really dig Banks, and it’s nice to see her get a chance to lead a film. On the other hand, this was written and directed by Steve Brill, the guy behind “Without A Paddle” and “Mr. Deeds.” We’ll see what that all means when his opens on April 25th. Watch below.
