Watch: Elizabeth Olsen & Dakota Fanning Are 'Very Good Girls' In Trailer For Coming-Of-Age Drama

Very Good Girls

Ah summer, the perfect season for beaches, picnics, hot evenings with cold beers and well, if you’re of a certain age, possibly losing it (your virginity, that is). And thus the hot summer months and coming-of-age collide accordingly in “Very Good Girls,” with the first trailer dropping today.

Directed by Naomi Foner, and starring Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning, the story follows two young women who make a pact to lose their virginity before college, but wind up falling for same guy, obviously causing feelings and complications. This premiered way back at Sundance in 2013, and we missed it at the time, and it didn’t earn much buzz beyond that. That said, it does have a soundtrack by Jenny Lewis, so that’s at least worth paying attention to.

“Very Good Girls” opens on July 25th.
