Watch: Evan Rachel Wood Promises Shia LaBeouf A Kiss In Clip From 'The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman'

nullNot everything that played the Sundance Film Festival nabbed a deal, and one of the higher profile movies still looking for a home is the extravagantly titled "The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman." An electro-charged Euro thriller, the music-driven movie didn't find much love on the chilly slopes of Park City, but it's hoping for a better result overseas.

The directorial debut of music video and commercials helmer Fredrik Bond now heads to the Berlin International Film Festival and new clip courtesy of MTV has dropped providing another preview of the flick. The concept is pretty straightfoward: a young man heads to Europe, falls in love with a girl and runs afoul of her violent ex-boyfriend. But it's played to degree so feverish that we said "the movie feels like the swelling, love-cranked-up-to-11 crescendo of a Sigur Ros song at all times, making for a picture that seems desperate to be seen as a deeply-felt, slow-motion music video."

So no home for this yet, but that could change when new audiences and buyers check out the movie this week in Germany. Tell us what you think after watching the below.
