Watch: Everyone Is Sad And Moody In Sam Smith's 'Spectre' Video "Writing's On The Wall"

SpectreThe current Bond era finds our hero broken, damaged, and pretty moody. He may have an arsenal of one liners, but he’s not likely to crack a smile very often or look like he’s having a good time doing his job. And so the vibe continues with "Writing’s On The Wall," the official theme song for "Spectre," performed by Sam Smith. The music video for the track has dropped, and the only explosions it has are sad explosions.

Moody and grim, with people looking into the distance, or walking around stoically masking their feelings, this doesn’t make the upcoming Bond movie look particularly exciting. Even with Smith belting his heart out, none of the actors seem to have any of their icy resolve melted. Man, maybe 007 needs a comic sidekick to join him next time around.
