It speaks to the breadth of programming at the Sundance Film Festival, that even a movie that takes home an award can fly under the radar to some degree. "Partisan" looked promising in the run up to the festival — here’s the first teaser and clip — but we just couldn’t find time for it in Park City. Our loss, it would seem, as the movie walked away with the World Cinema Dramatic Cinematography trophy. And now a new and very intriguing trailer has arrived for a movie that is one we’ll have to track down.

Directed by Ariel Kleiman, and starring Vincent Cassel and Jeremy Chabriel, the story follows the relationship between Gregori, the leader of a deadly cult who trains children to be killers, and Alexander, one of the young boys under his roof. But when Alexander begins to ask questions, things being to fall apart.
"Partisan" opens in France on May 8th and in Australia on May 28th. No U.S. date yet, but it will be released via Well Go Entertainment. Watch below. [The Guardian]
