Watch: First Clip Of 'Transformers: Age Of Extinction' Centers On The Humans, Plus New TV Spots

Transformers: Age Of Exctinction

We’re now only a few weeks away from the arrival of the most anticipated movie of the year for people who like indistinguishable metal CGI characters and slow-motion pans of people looking up to the sky, because Michael Bay‘s fourth “Transformers” movie, “Age Of Extinction,” is nearly imminent. With Shia LaBoeuf off being a lunatic, the new film is essentially a reboot, retaining some of the Transformer characters but focusing on a new set of humans, led by Mark Wahlberg‘s mechanic, his daughter Nicola Peltz, and her racecar-driving boyfriend Jack Reynor. And because it’s, uh, the humans that made the franchise into the billion-dollar behemoth it is today, that’s the focus of the first clip from the movie, which just landed.

The brief scene features Wahlberg (complete with hilarious David Caruso-style taking-off-my-glasses moment) squaring off against Frasier Crane, who plays an actor cashing a large paycheck. But don’t worry, “Transformer”-fans, there’s also two spots full of CG Bay-hem to convince you that the film won’t just be two guys talking in a room. “Transformers: Age Of Extinction” hits theaters on June 27th, watch all the material below.
