From the glasses of Harry Potter to uh, the horns growing out of his head in "Horns," Daniel Radcliffe has come a long way since being the boy wizard. And now the first teaser trailer for the horror movie is here, and it promises some moody stuff, with Radcliffe trying a different accent too.
Co-starring Juno Temple, Max Minghella, Heather Graham and David Morse, based on the novel by Joe Hill and directed by Alexandre Aja ("High Tension," "The Hills Have Eyes"), the story follows Ig, who wakes up from a night of hard drinking with horns growing out of his head. He soon discovers they give him the ability to get people to confess to their sins, and he begins the journey of finding out who raped and killed his girlfriend after being wrongly accused of the crime. Tough stuff, but seems right down Aja’s alley and we’re intrigued to see what Radcliffe does here too.
"Horns" is set to be released in the U.K. on October 31st. The movie is now scheduled for a October 30th, Halloween release date, and you can check out our chat with Radcliffe and Temple from the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival here. 7.25.14.
