The R-rated animated movie is perhaps the last mountain to climb as it’s not a genre that people around Hollywood invest in on a regular basis, but that’s changing. Seth Rogen and co. already have "Sausage Party" coming next summer, but beating them to the punch is "Hell And Back," and the first red band trailer for the film has landed.
Marketing is always a very carefully plotted out thing, but I’m not sure it’s wise to make the first impression with a masturbation turned rape joke. It’s a pretty low bar to hit and not hit very well either. Anyway, Mila Kunis, T.J. Miller, Michael Pena, Susan Surandon, Bob Odenkirk, and Danny McBride all lend their voices to this one, which is about an unlikely gang who have to face a big evil. Here’s the official synopsis:
