“A bullet travels at over four thousand feet per second, four times faster than the speed of sound. The effect of that velocity? Absolute.” What does that mean? Well, in the world of spy thriller “The November Man,” it means Pierce Brosnan has no time for love in this business. Yep, while he plays dashing and refined often, Brosnan can also kick ass, hold a grudge, etc., etc. If that sounds generic, well you just wait.
In the movie, The November Man aka Peter Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan) is a lethal and highly trained ex-CIA agent, who has been enjoying a quiet life in Switzerland. When Devereaux is lured out of retirement for one last mission, he must protect valuable witness, Alice Fournier, (Olga Kurylenko). He soon uncovers this assignment marks him a target of his former friend and CIA protégé David Mason (Luke Bracey). With growing suspicions of a mole in the agency, there is no one Devereaux can trust, no rules and no holds barred.
Directed by Roger Donaldson, (“Species,” “The Recruit,” “The Bank Job, “ and Brosnan’s “Dante’s Peak“), the first trailer for the Relativity Movie has arrived. And it’s a bit generic and not really anything to write home about, but clearly there’s some kind of audience for it. We’ll see for ourselves later the summer, as “The November Man” is due in theaters August 27th.
