Watch: First Trailer For Adam Sandler's Controversial Netflix Comedy 'The Ridiculous 6'

Ridiculous 6,Following Native American actors walking off the set earlier this year, and script leaks which revealed some truly unfunny jokes, Adam Sandler continued to stand by his upcoming “The Ridiculous 6.” “It’s a pro-Indian movie. So hopefully when people see it — whoever was offended on set and walked out, I hope they realize that, and that’s it. It was kinda taken out of context,” the actor said in July. Well, the first trailer is here, so you can judge for yourself.

Truthfully, there’s not much revealed about the Native roles, though there are a couple of quick scenes, including a shot of a toddler holding a tiny axe, which I guess is supposed to be funny. But mostly, the movie is your typical Sandler joint, a big broad comedy, with big broad characters, with a typically juvenile tone. And there’s also Taylor Lautner going full dumb in the name of laughs which in the trailer alone is already wearying. I can’t imagine how it’ll play in a full length version.

Featuring an insanely huge cast — Harvey Keitel, John Turturro, Nick Nolte, Blake Shelton, Whitney Cummings, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Dan Aykroyd, Will Forte, Nick Swardson, Terry Crews, Jon Lovitz, Vanilla Ice, Luke Wilson, Steve Zahn, Danny Trejo, Chris ParnellLavell Crawford and more — “The Ridiculous 6” arrives on Netflix on December 11th.
