You might think after earning $1.2 billion worldwide, Disney might be in a rush to get a sequel out in the world. But rightfully, and kind of surprisingly, the company is taking their time and there’s currently no news on a feature length followup. But, that doesn’t mean they’re not going to keep their new franchise from extending its brand. The new short "Frozen Fever" is on the horizon and today the first trailer has arrived, debuting this morning on every kid’s favorite show, "Good Morning America."
Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf — voiced by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad — are back in this Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee directed tale, which will take viewers into a very special celebration. Here’s the official synopsis: In “Frozen Fever,” it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but when Elsa catches a cold, her powers may put more than just the party at risk.
"Frozen Fever" will screen in front of "Cinderella" when it opens on March 13th. Check out the trailer below, along with a featurette and new pics.
