Watch: First Trailer For New Season Of 'The Thick Of It' Debuts

Sadly, most of us have never seen "The Thick of It," Armando Iannucci's political satire that is about to enter its fourth season on British television. But we have seen the theatrical spin-off, "In the Loop," and almost peed ourselves with laughter. Plus, some of us are huge fans of Iannucci's stateside series "Veep," which just finished its freshman season on HBO (it'll be back next year). So, while we're not entirely sure what's going on in this 30-second clip for the new season of "The Thick of It," subtitled "Coalition," we still find ourselves giggling a little bit.

The clip, via Bleeding Cool, shows a lot of British people yelling in offices, among them Roger Allam from "V for Vendetta" (and, um, "Speed Racer"), and a brief clip of our favorite F-bomb-dropping spin doctor Malcolm Tucker (Peter Capaldi), who gets to make a funny joke about yoga. Yoga jokes! They're so flexible! (On a somewhat related note we were tickled pink to see Malcolm Tucker turn up in Alan Moore's recent graphic novel "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century – 2009.")

This new season of "The Thick of It" will start airing on September 8th in the U.K. with a typically brief run of seven episodes (eight episodes would leave too little time for tea). There have been plans to put out the series in a season 1-3 box set in the United States for quite some time (there is even a nebulous pre-order page on Amazon), but those plans have yet to solidify, which causes us to curse a Malcolm Tucker-esque blue streak.
