Watch: First Trailer For Noah Baumbach's 'While We're Young' With Ben Stiller & Naomi Watts

While We're Young, BaumbachNoah Baumbach has forever been concerned with the crises that come during certain moments in life. And if "Greenberg" tracked middle age malaise and "Frances Ha" addressed post-collegiate uncertainty, then "While We’re Young" meets them in the middle. And the results are pretty terrific. In what may be his best movie to date, Baumbach tackles both generations, and the first trailer for the movie is here.

The story centers on Josh (Ben Stiller) and Cornelia (Naomi Watts), a couple whose lives have stalled into a familiar pattern. But things change when they meet hipster duo Jamie (Adam Driver) and Darby (Amanda Seyfried), who befriend the older couple, and show them the creative life that’s still burning in Brooklyn. And for a while, Josh and Cornelia are re-energized, but soon, the generation gap is too difficult to bridge.

The trailer sells it as a bit more of a broad comedy, but as we wrote in our review, the film "is thoughtful about how hopes, ambitions, dreams and ideals of personal and creative accomplishments that ebb and flow across decades."

"While We’re Young" opens on March 27, 2015. Watch below. 2/12/15 update: Poster has arrived via Vanity Fair.
