You can’t see ’em all, and last spring at SXSW, the rom-com "We’ll Never Have Paris" just couldn’t fit in our schedule. And even though it played a handful of festivals since, it just didn’t cross our path. And so, we’ll just have to catch it when it opens in theaters next month, and the trailer for the movie has dropped to show what we’ve been missing.
Written, co-directed and starring Simon Helberg, the movie follows a man whose indecision about marrying the first woman he’s ever been with has serious consequences when she ups and leaves for Paris. And so he follows her there hoping to win her back. It’s a simple enough premise, and we always love Melanie Lynskey, and the supporting players in place are solid too with Maggie Grace, Zachary Quinto and Alfred Molina rounding things out.
"We’ll Never Have Paris" arrives on January 22nd. Watch below.
