Is Michael Crichton hot in Hollywood again? This summer "Jurassic World," a sequel to "Jurassic Park," which was of course based on the author’s book, opened to huge numbers, and is currently on its way to earning a massive $1.5 billion worldwide. And this fall, HBO and Jonathan Nolan reboot Crichton’s 1973 film "Westworld," bringing the sci-fi tale to the small screen and the first trailer has landed.
Starring Ed Harris, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Anthony Hopkins, and Jeffrey Wright, the show centers around a technologically sophisticated amusement park that recreates long gone time periods for patrons to enjoy. The drama will reportedly be told from the point of view of the A.I. creations that populate the park, and HBO intriguingly describes "Westworld" as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin."
"Westworld" arrives this fall. Watch below.
