The introduction to this insightful video that utilizes all of the subtle comedy of the ’90s, claims to have created the world’s first “Cyber Sit-Com.” Sitting through the video, on the other hand, clearly shows why there hasn’t been another Cyber Sit-Com since. Aniston and Perry look miserable while they’re tasked to regurgitate the lame jokes they’ve been given. Perry’s artificial pep is so off the charts we wonder what was in his coffee between takes in order to come to terms with the fact that he was starring in a Windows 95 how-to video.
If you think Aniston and Perry are annoying, you ain’t seen nothing yet, as an army of bland stereotypes invade the set while they more than likely provide the inspiration for Tommy Wiseau’s sit-com "The Neighbors." The faux-"Seinfeld" score is the biggest offender here, capping every lame joke with a depressingly cheerful comedy bass line. The second half of the video provides dry instructions on how to use the many features of Windows 95, which is surprisingly more than welcome after the mind-numbingly lame comedy bits.
