Watch: Honest Trailer For Cold, Lifeless And Boring 'Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones'

Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones

While J.J. Abrams has been tasked with the monumental job of directing “Star Wars: Episode 7,” he has a pretty low bar to clear. As long as it isn’t as terrible as the prequels, everyone will be happy. And if you need a reminder of just how clunky George Lucas‘ return to the franchise was, Screen Junkies is here to help.

They’ve dropped another Honest Trailer, this time putting “Star Wars: Episode II — The Attack Of The Clones” squarely in its target. And it’s a pretty easy movie to take shots at. Featuring an overload of special effects, awful dialogue, wooden acting and a plot we can’t even remember, it takes the thread of Anakin turning to the dark side and makes it as boring as possible. Talky and with pretty low stakes (clones versus droids, whoa!), you have to remember this was the middle section of three disappointments that greeted fans over a decade ago. Watch below.
