Overcoming the stigma of being too hardcore and too sympathetic to financial world assholes, “The Wolf Of Wall Street” still wound up with five Oscar nominations in major categories (Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Director and Best Picture). Of course, it went home empty handed, but now that we’re a few months away from the hype, here’s a fun way to revisit the flick.
Screen Junkies has unleashed yet another Honest Trailer, this time pointing the zingers at Martin Scorsese‘s flick. And mostly, the spot points out the ridiculous excess of the movie, the array of Scorsese trademarks the film includes in its lengthy 3-hour runtime, the numerous cameos by directors, and the fact that despite a lot of yelling, Leonardo DiCaprio is still without an Oscar. And oh yeah, the movie makes quaaludes look really, really fun. Whether you like the movie or are a bit more ambivalent, this is a good bit of fun, so watch below.
