This weekend, Bryan Singer will be merging two mutant timelines and then doing some fancy time travel trickery to make it all work in “X-Men: Days Of Future Past.” It brings together mutants young and old to battle Sentinels and more, so perhaps there’s no better time to get reacquainted with the trilogy—or “triquel”—that started it all.
And that’s just what Screen Junkies have done with their latest installment in the Honest Trailers series. This time they put their focus on the solid “X-Men” and “X2,” and on the pretty terrible “X-Men 3: The Last Stand,” but it’s not all Brett Ratner-bashing. The trailer has a good time poking fun at the mutants themselves and some of the cheeseball stuff the franchise has delivered over the years. Sit back and watch below.
