Watch: International Trailer For The Still Unreleased Drama 'All Good Things' Starring Ryan Gosling & Kirsten Dunst

Thanks to an eagle eye tip from one of our readers (thanks Jason!) we’ve been pointed in the direction of the international trailer for Andrew Jarecki’s still-unreleased drama “All Good Things,” starring Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst.

As you might recall, Jarecki bought back the U.S. distribution rights to the film from The Weinstein Company earlier this year after the completed film wound up collecting dust on the studio shelf for over two years. Oddly enough, The Weinstein Company still have the international rights to the film and probably much to Jarecki’s chagrin, it seems they are finally getting around to releasing it, at least overseas. There’s no word yet if Jarecki has inked a deal with a new distributor for the U.S. or when we might get to see the film.

In case you’ve forgotten, the film is “inspired by the true story of Robert Durst, the scion of a wealthy New York family who was acquitted of killing his neighbor and whose first wife vanished into thin air.” The true story of Robert Durst is ripe with bizarro details — he dressed as a woman, while a fugitive from justice he was arrested trying to steal a sandwich even though he had $500 in his pocket — that are too much to detail here, but this extensive summary of his life is definitely worth a read.

While buzz around the film has mostly been negative (though probably not aided by the shifting release dates and continual delays put on the film by the The Weinstein Company) we’re big fans of Ryan Gosling and will pretty much watch anything he’s in. He seems to have gained weight for the role, looking a bit puffy playing wealthy playboy Durst, and the class conflict/upper class sleaziness seems a bit tired. But with Jarecki, who made the celebrated documentary “Capturing The Friedmans” at the helm, we hope there is a lot more beneath the surface.
