Phil, Alan and Stu. We partied with them in Las Vegas, got wasted with them in Thailand, and now it’s all coming back home with “The Hangover Part III,” a movie in which they want to burn the gambling mecca where they started their journey to the ground. The first trailer set up the pins — will this one knock ’em down?
Until now, not much has been known about the grand finale, with the plot details something close to state secrets. Well, whatever the drunken fratboy movie equivalent of that is. But this time around, we’re getting much a bigger taste as not only is this spot actually hilarious (great opening choice of “Runaway” by Kanye West), but we get the whole story. Though long suspected about Alan entering a mental hospital, he’s actually geared up for rehab until it all goes awry when John Goodman‘s baddie needs their help to track down Mr. Chow. So lots more Las Vegas madness but more importantly, some jokes that actually hit pretty hard and definitely made us laugh. While we were initially underwhelmed, consider is now fully….whelmed…..
Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are back (duh) for the third-quel that also features Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Melissa McCarthy and loads more. The Wolf Pack are back one more time on May 24th.
