There are some actors who fall into unknowing self-parody, and then there are others who have the self-awareness to own it. Jean-Claude Van Damme is in the latter camp. Never much of a thespian, the "Muscles from Brussels" had a good run of enjoyable B-grade (at best) action flicks, before settling into a career that includes lots of riffing on his glory days. He’s a pretty good sport when it comes to poking fun at his image, and this might be the most fun he’s had at his own expense ever.
The actor has cut together a bunch of hilarious action green screen that’s free for folks to download, share, remix, and do whatever they want with. Do you need a shot of JCVD shooting a machine gun with glee? You got it. Standing stoically and shaking his head, "no"? Yep, it’s in there. Diving and shooting a gun at the same time? Naturally. This is all gold and hopefully someone does some great stuff with this soon. Certainly, the words "Do you like sushi?" have never been more dangerous.
