Everything got so serious in the past couple of weeks as the awards season rolled in, didn't it? All these movies with Ideas and Themes and Concepts, all vowing to give your brain a workout on their way to various awards season honors. But if you're looking to completely switch off, grab some popcorn, feed your face and empty your mind, here comes "The House At The End Of The Street."
The low-budget thriller, that likely has the producers thankful they nabbed Jennifer Lawrence before she became a megastar with "The Hunger Games," follows a mother and daughter who move into their new dream house. But things take a turn for the sinister when the young girl falls into a relationship with the troubled, brooding (and hunky) boy next door (Max Theriot), who is the only survivor after his family was slaughtered years before. Could he be hiding a secret? Spoiler alert: he probably is.
Anyway, a new clip has dropped for the film and never has doing the dishes been so deadly. That the payoff is a cheap gag makes it all the more dull. And if you want more, a bunch of pics of new pics have arrived as well (via Kinopoisk). HATES opens on September 21st.
