Watch: John Williams Conducts Score From 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' Plus New Images, IMAX Featurette & Posters

nullWith "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" set to launch billions in merchandise sales, Disney has tapped into a particularly lucrative market. According to a new study by Nielsen (via THR), "Star Wars" fans spend more annually than the average American in a variety of product categories including technology, auto, food and personal care: $4,300 per year for Skywalker nuts vs. $4,100 per year for regular folks. "Star Wars" enthusiasts also have more disposable income, averaging 9% more than regular folk. And among the many things those fans will be spending their money on in the coming weeks is the ‘Force Awakens’ soundtrack by John Williams.

This weekend, "60 Minutes" will feature a segment on the film, but they’ve dropped a little tease today, showing the legendary composer at work in the studio, and it’s fun little treat. Even director J.J. Abrams geeks about a bit at being able to sit on the sidelines and watch.

We’re now under a week until ‘The Force Awakens’ arrives. Check out Williams, a new international TV spot, and images below.
