Watch: Julianne Moore Eerily Embodies Sarah Palin In Trailer For HBO's 'Game Change'

nullAs America heads to the polls next year to decide if Barack Obama deserves another shot, or if the looney Mitt Romney or Rick Perry or Newt Gingrich should lead the country, it's unlikely the race will ever match the showdown in 2008. Obama's meteroic rise was only one part of the story of his election that also saw Sarah Palin controversially enter the national stage. Well get ready because that story is now headed to the movies in "Game Change," which now has a very promising trailer.

Directed by Jay Roach (who is also helming the much more comic "political" movie "Southern Rivals" with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis also coming next year), has reunited with his "Recount" writer Danny Strong for “Game Change,” which is based on the best-seller by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, and will track the 2008 election on both sides. This movie has pulled together a pretty fantastic cast with Julianne Moore sure to jump straight into the Emmy race with what looks like a spot-on portrayal of Palin. Ed Harris looks to be doing solid work as McCain in the film that also features Woody Harrelson (as Steve Schmidt, McCain’s senior campaign strategist and adviser), Ron Livingston (as Mark Wallace, a senior adviser to the McCain-Palin 2008 campaign) along with Larry Sullivan ("CSI"), Jamey Sheridan ("Trauma") and Melissa Farman ("Temple Grandin") as Sarah Palin’s deputy chief of staff Chris Edwards, senior campaign adviser Mark Salter and Bristol Palin, respectively.
