Watch: Kara Zor-El Flies, Stops Bullets, Causes Explosions In New Teaser Trailer For 'Supergirl'

SupergirlIt’s a bit sad that before "Supergirl" has even had a chance to fly on her own on network television, people are already asking when Superman might show up. But thankfully, the show’s producers are busying themselves with trying to fit in DC Comics‘ most iconic character just yet into the latest superhero show.

“Our prototype is the way the president is seen on ‘Veep,’ ” executive producer Ali Adler told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s certainly [inspired by] so much of what Julia-Louis Dreyfus’ character goes through. Ultimately, this is a show about Supergirl and we really want to see it through her lens.” And that’s a pretty decent and allows the show to find its own legs before bringing Clark Kent into the picture.

The pilot episode screens at Comic-Con, but first comes this latest teaser trailer which doesn’t hold back on the action, and…well, tell me what you think. "Supergirl" hits the CBS on October 26th.
