That's right, the floodgates are open and marketing material for the Cannes Film Festival selections are pouring out, and the latest are two gritty clips from Jacques Audiard's "Rust And Bone."
Starring breakout "Bullhead" actor Matthias Schoenaerts and Marion Cotillard, the film chronicles the relationship between a marine animal worker and a bruiser who seems to work a variety of jobs to get by. In the clips below, we see Schoenaerts first as a bouncer, where he first meets and escorts Cotillard out of a club after a fight and later, taking part in some illegal, off the books, bare knuckle boxing. Either way, the man is pretty damn good with his hands. All said, our anticipation is pretty damn high for this one and we're really liking what we see so far.
"Rust And Bone" screens on May 17th and will be released later this year by Sony Pictures Classics. Watch below.
