Watch: More Madness & Mayhem In 2 New ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ TV Spots, Plus New Banners & Posters

Mad Max: Fury RoadIf you looked at the film world as the nerds on one side and cinephiles on the other (and you shouldn’t necessarily do so, but for the sake of a lede), you might find a lot of common ground on all sides with “Mad Max: Fury Road.” Pretty much from trailer number one, movie fans of all shapes and sizes have been agog at what George Miller appears to have pulled off. The stunts look insane, most of the action looks to be in camera, and according to the lead Tom Hardy, he estimates he only has between four and twenty lines of dialogue in the entire film.

From many accounts, including Miller, ‘Fury Road’ is one long-ass chase movie where Tom Hardy’s Max runs into Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) and her band of female warriors (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough), and together they get past their differences to race across the wasteland away from Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) and his armada of murderous, post-apocalyptic thugs.
