High-RiseIt feels like I’ve been writing about Ben Wheatley‘s "High-Rise" forever, and frankly, I’m a bit out of things to say. You should know it’s the director’s most ambitious, starriest effort to date, and yet, it loses none of his surreal, oddball touch that first put him on the map. It’s truly a singular vision and if you’re looking for a distraction from the upcoming box office blockbuster season, this is what you want to buy a ticket for.

J.G. Ballard‘s novel is brought to life by Tom Hiddleston, Luke EvansJeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Elisabeth Moss, James Purefoy, Peter Ferdinando and Keeley Hawes, in the tale of a luxury apartment building that descends into utter madness, with the film making a pointed observation about Thatcher-esque politics. 

"High-Rise" opens in the U.S. via On Demand, Amazon Video and iTunes on April 28th and in theaters on May 13th. Watch the new trailer below below.
