This morning we have a pair of clips from two wildly different films: an Oscar contender dealing with addiction and a film from a tween-friendly studio. Check them both out below.
First up is a clip from Robert Zemeckis’ first live-action film in over a decade, the Denzel Washington-starring “Flight.” The clip is of Washington’s first meeting with the Chicago lawyer played by Don Cheadle and includes Bruce Greenwood. Our reviewer was ultimately disappointed by the film, giving it a B, but with Washington delivering “a solid, mannered performance” that has been garnering Oscar buzz, this may be a film you have to see for yourself. “Flight” lands in theaters on November 2nd.
On the other end of the spectrum is a clip from the Nickelodeon-produced teen comedy “Fun Size.” The clip features Victoria Justice, alongside a disapproving Jane Levy (ABC sitcom “Suburgatory” and the upcoming “Evil Dead” remake), trying to get a ride from a pair of dweebs. For what it’s worth, the Josh Schwartz (creator of “The O.C.”) helmed film is only the second Nickelodeon film to have ever received a PG-13 rating. “Fun Size” hits theaters this Friday on October 26th. Check out the clip below.
