It might not be much, but these two new teasers for some highly anticipated films should get two different audiences very excited.
First up, Sony is rolling out the red carpet for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” as they prepare to head into Comic-Con, and a new teaser has dropped for the movie. It’s only about forty seconds long and it’s mostly voice-over (relax folks, the movie only recently wrapped shooting), but it does provide the first look at Jamie Foxx‘s villain Electro. We’re still not sold on the look—he doesn’t really seem all that menacing and makeup job is a bit odd—but these are early days and there’s still plenty of time to right that ship.
Meanwhile, Ridley Scott‘s “The Counselor” continues to keep its cards close to the chest. This domestic teaser trailer is not all that different than the one that dropped last month, but it does feature a bit more dialogue and an extra scene with Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz getting very close. Mostly, it’s a reminder that this one should be high on your list for the fall.
“The Amazing Spider-Man 2” arrives on May 2, 2014 and “The Counselor” goes to court on October 25th. [ScreenCrush/Vlicious!]
