Watch: New 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' Video Blog & Air New Zealand's Hobbit Plane

nullIt's hard to believe, given the ups and down the film has faced, but the world premiere of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" is four days away. In just 96 hours the word on Peter Jackson's return to Middle Earth will be heard around the world, but there is still work to be done.

A new production video blog from the movie has made its way online, takes fans into the editing for the movie, which is going down to the wire, with Jackson revealing he's on schedule to finish the movie just two days before the premiere. Damn. But the promotion won't stop there, as the marketing and tie-ins will be going full throttle, and among the latest curiosities is Air New Zealand's 'Hobbit' painted 777-300 (via Reddit) which you can check out above. It's The Airline Of Middle Earth…. if they had planes we guess… but it goes along with the 'Hobbit' themed inflight safety video and the Gollum sculpture at the Wellington airport.

In case you didn't know, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" starts going up the mountain on December 14th.
