While it’s rare for films released in the first six months of the year to make it onto Top Ten lists come December, one picture you can count on making more than a few rankings is George Miller‘s ferocious "Mad Max: Fury Road." The critically acclaimed, audience beloved picture was one of the few this year that people bought tickets for and went back to the cinema to see again, and you’re not going to have to wait too long to have your own copy to play at home.
Warner Bros. has dropped the first teaser for the film’s Blu-ray and Digital HD release and it’s an interesting one. Rather than highlight footage from the movie, it’s an introduction to the decimated world of the story, through the lens of the War Pups. The extra features have been revealed, however, though the black-and-white version won’t be on this release, just remember that Warner Bros. didn’t release the "silent" version of "Gravity" until they double dipped with the Diamond Luxe Edition. I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens here too.
"Mad Max: Fury Road" hits Digital HD on August 11th and Blu-ray on September 1st.
