Watch: New Trailer For 'The Call' In Which Halle Berry Answers 911

nullRemember "Rescue 911"? In the era before the glut of reality shows, it was a precursor of sorts, a program that offered up re-enactments of real life situations and emergencies, all narrated and given gravitas by the show's host, William Shatner. And if you ever wondered what a big screen version of that might be, "The Call" seems to come pretty close.

It's not based on a true story, but the thriller sees Halle Berry play a worker in a call center who gets very, very involved when a young girl (Abigail Breslin) is kidnapped and put in the trunk of a car by a crazed killer who likes driving around a lot. The new trailer isn't so different from the first one, but it does offer up enough new stuff to make it worth a curious click. And we have to admit, we kind of want to see how the movie explains Berry leaving work and seemingly make her way to the killer's lair. We presume this is one of those movies where she has to take the law into her own hands.

Directed by Brad Anderson ("The Machinist"), the movie dials up on March 15th. [Moviefone]
