In the car crash of spy movie/special agent flicks this year — "Kingsman: The Secret Service," "Spy," "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.," "Mission Impossible — Rogue Nation," "The Gunman," "Bridge Of Spies" — we sorta forgot about "Barely Lethal." But the action comedy is coming and a new trailer has arrived.
Starring Hailee Steinfeld, Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Alba, Jaime King, and Sophie Turner, the film follows a girl, raised as an orphan in a school that trains kids to kill, who wants to have a normal teenage life. So she fakes her death and finds a suburban home only to realize she can’t escape her past. This is all pretty broad and fish-out-of-water wacky, and seems aimed at the junior high crowd, so match your expectations accordingly.
