When American movies travel abroad, they sometimes are interestingly renamed. For example, "The Hangover" became "Very Bad Trip" in France, and now "Laggies" will be called "Say When" in the UK. We’re sure there’s a marketing reason that some studio executive could explain, but lacking that, here’s a new trailer.
Keira Knightley, Chloe Moretz and Sam Rockwell star in the latest from director Lynn Shelton that follows an aimless 28 year-old Megan, who freaks out when her boyfriend proposes marriage and winds up spending more time with the teenage Annika and her single Dad. It’s a movie in which a "patchy tone, plot, characters and sympathies make for a film that’s difficult to wholeheartedly endorse," we wrote in our review out of Sundance.
Co-starring Mark Webber, Ellie Kemper, Jeff Garlin, Gretchen Moland Kaitlyn Dever, "Laggies" opens on October 24th. Trailer below. [Digital Spy]
