Watch: Play Fight With The New Trailer For Noah Baumbach's 'Frances Ha' Starring Greta Gerwig

nullHow long has it been since we’ve had a movie like this? After a long Oscar season, and lots of serious movies and discussions, a new trailer for Noah Baumbach‘s “Frances Ha” has appeared like a spring breeze.

Co-written by Baumbach and the film’s star Greta Gerwig, “Frances Ha” tells the story of a young New York woman who yearns for more from life, her relationships and more. Presented in black and white, the film was a surprise sensation at Telluride and TIFF last year, and certainly captured our attention. In our review from Telluride we noted that for Baumbach “it marks an exciting new period in the filmmaker’s oeuvre and one that will hopefully yield many more collaborations with the endearing and charming Greta Gerwig.” And we wrapped up our coverage from Colorado by noting, “the alchemy between them has produced a seriously funny, sad and engaging dramedy and it’s one of Baumbach’s best efforts to date.”

See for yourself this spring when IFC Films opens the picture on May 17th. Watch below.
