While Adam Sandler does occasionally decide to make a respectable movie, such as the next effort from Noah Baumbach, crappy, broad comedies pay the bills. And his deal at Netflix is allowing him to do that and then some. Following last year’s "The Ridiculous 6," he’s back on the streaming site with "The Do-Over," and yes, it looks dreadful.
His pal David Spade co-stars in his latest movie, playing a bank manager stuck in a rut who reunites with his old friend, and the pair winding up going on a wacky adventure after faking their deaths. Basically, it’s a premise that once again lets Sandler and his buddies get paid to go on vacation in some beautiful locales, while also making a movie.
From Steve Brill, the director "Little Nicky" and "Mr. Deeds," "The Do-Over" hits Netflix on May 27th.
