The bromance between Michael Fassbender and former Beta Band member turned director John Maclean was first forged on the shorts "Man On A Motorcycle" and the award winning "Pitch Black Heist." Now it has blossomed into the feature length "Slow West," and the first trailer is here.
Co-starring Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Mendelsohn, and Caren Pistorius, the story follows a mysterious drifter who teams with a 16 year-old, to help the young man cross the American frontier in search of the woman he loves. It’s a movie that impressed our man on the ground at Sundance, who says it has a "thrilling and explosive ending with a high body count, but with heart and soul, too" and he commends the "dark, but spirited fable."
"Slow West" gallops to the Tribeca Film Festival next and will be available exclusively on DirecTV April 16th before going into theaters and VOD on May 15th. Watch below.
