While there are some dissenters, the early word on Marvel‘s "Ant-Man" is that it’s the big buttery piece of popcorn entertainment you’ve been hoping for. That said, Marvel’s trailers, aside from a couple of gags here and there, have thus far mostly presented the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a mostly serious movie, with a few laughs punched in. Well, perhaps this Japanese trailer gets closer to the true spirit of the picture.

Kicking off with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) getting fired from Baskin-Robbins, this new spots features mores jokes, new footage, and some new scenes of Ant-Man and Yellowjacket duking it out. Yes, there are still the straight-faced dramatic scenes, but they are more evenly balanced out with a mix of action and comedy. Basically, this leans more "Guardians of the Galaxy" than "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
