Okay, this writer was pretty harsh on the first two spots for “American Reunion” — a movie that we still think is totally unnecessary. But that being said, this new full-length trailer for the movie? Okay, it plays on the “blue-balled-husbands” motif that every staple sitcom uses these days, but we have to admit it did make us chuckle in spots.
This new look at the movie delivers everything you might expect, and gives away the subplot centering around Eugene Levy in five seconds, this is the first time we’ve felt that getting the gang back together might be a good thing. Essentially, the film catches up Michelle, Stifler, Oz, Jessica, Jim, Heather, Nadia, Vicky, Kevin and Finch for their 10-year high school reunion. Yep they are all grown up, with Stifler using “New Moon” to try and get laid, while Oz is banging Katrina Bowden, much to his buddies’ jealousy. The chemistry still seems to be intact and Tara Reid seems positively coherent.
