Watch: Sesame Street's Star Player Spoofs Alejandro G. Iñárritu With ‘Big Birdman’

Big Birdman“It smells like balls in here.” Nope, now it smells like birdseed and this place is crawling with monsters. Yep, this one’s rather self-explanatory, but here goes. Caroll Spinney, the puppeteer behind the iconic "Sesame Street" character Big Bird, stars in “Big Birdman,” a spoof of ‎Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Oscar-nominated “Birdman.”

“A veteran puppeteer, who plays an avian icon, battles his ego and attempts to find his way back to a certain furry and friendly street. This is ‘Big Birdman.’ ” Cute. Or annoying if you’re maybe one of those people in constant backlash mode, but hey, it’s a little amusing daily diversion.

Maybe the Children’s Television Network should do all the Best Picture nominees. Animal starring in “Whiplash”? I’d watch that. Meanwhile, check out the clip below.
