Watch: Steve Carell Deals With 'Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' In New Trailer

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Looks like somebody has a case of the Mondays. The cherished children’s book “Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” by Judith Viorst is headed to the big screen, and it looks like it will live up to the title in more ways than one.

Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner lead this story that centers on the Brand family, who seem to have it all … except for Alexander, who can’t seem to get anything right. But that all changes one fateful day, when the Brand family find themselves experiencing everything that happens to Alexander on a daily basis and suddenly there are life lessons and Of Monsters And Men songs playing and everyone is bonding. And there is also a “Wreck-It Ralph” reference because … Disney? That was kinda weird.

“Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” opens on October 10th.
