We sit just about a month away before Zack Snyder‘s “Man of Steel” hits theatres, and with Christopher Nolan‘s name attached, you can bet nothing too salacious will hit the web long before that date. That doesn’t mean there won’t be a host of intriguing glimpses though, as a new TV spot and minimalist poster just released online show.
The TV spot focuses heavily on Clark Kent’s (Henry Cavill) responsibility to the people of Earth, with Pa Kent (Kevin Costner) asking him via voiceover whether “to stand in front of the human race — or not.” And certainly by Supe’s showdown with Army soldiers and the quick flashes of action, including a glimpse of an armed General Zod (Michael Shannon), it looks like the challenge will be handily accepted.
Check the spot out below, as well as a new poster showing another angle of Superman shooting skyward before “Man of Steel” lands in cinemas June 14th.
