With Katy Perry bringing her halftime show to America at the Super Bowl, perhaps there’s no better moment for Universal to drop their game day spot for their big, musical, comedy sequel "Pitch Perfect 2." That’s exactly what they’ve done, and you better believe the pitches are back.
Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson return with the Barden Bellas facing new competition (including the Green Bay Packers), and bringing their ferocious pipes to the playground. The last film was not only a sleeper box office hit, but was a massive soundtrack sensation too, and you can bet this one will be aiming for the same high bar. But can magic strike twice? Well, they’ve got a lot of the same team assembled, and what looks like the same loose, playful spirit, so don’t bet against it.
