Can Chris Hemsworth, Leslie Mann, Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Charlie Day, Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo take on and defeat Tom Cruise and the mighty "Mission: Impossible" franchise? Well, Warner Bros. is rolling the dice and saying yes, moving their franchise comedy reboot "Vacation" from the fall, to the same date as ‘Rogue Nation.’ And the first trailer is here to see if the movie has got the goods to deliver a box office upset.
John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein (the writers behind "Horrible Bosses") have penned and directed this sequel which sees the grown up Rusty Griswold take his own family on the road where, of course, comedic mishaps ensue. Guess it runs in the family. So really it’s a showdown between two things you already know: outrageous, on-the-road laughs with an interesting ensemble (really curious to see how Hemsworth fares), or adrenaline-pumping stunts the likes of which only Cruise can provide.
Tell us which one you’re seeing on July 31st and watch the trailer below.
