Next month sees the release of two wildly different takes on the apocalypse: the serious-blockbuster take of “World War Z” and the star-studded comedic take of “This is the End.” Now, two clips from the films have arrived online so lock yourself in your bunker and check them out below.
First up is a clip (via Yahoo!) from the first of the Brad Pitt-starring big-screen — and CGI-laden — adaptation of Max Brooks’ “World War Z.” It’s the same moment you’ve seen in all the trailers, Pitt is given the unenviable task to get to the bottom of the zombie apocalypse and bristles at the thought of leaving his family alone. You’ll get to see whether Pitt accepts the mission or not in theaters on June 21st.
Next up is a (teaser?) clip (via ComingSoon) from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s “This Is The End” focused on Craig Robinson’s guilt over Aziz Ansari’s death. We’re not sure how much of the “Real World”-style confessional footage will actually end up in the final version of movie, but it’s still a great joy to hear Robinson sing “Take Yo Panties Off.” Mourn the loss of Ansari when “This Is The End” hits theaters on June 12th. Watch both clips below.
