Watch: Tom Hardy Gets His Beard On In New Trailer For 'Peaky Blinders' Season 2

Peaky BlindersOne of our Most Anticipated TV Shows For The Rest Of 2014, "Peaky Blinders" will be notable for those new to the series for bringing together Christopher Nolan‘s Scarecrow and Bane, aka Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy. It’s also notable for being a slightly under-the-radar show, at least stateside, that boasts a similar "Boardwalk Empire"-style vibe about the rise of the titular gang as they and amass power and avoid the long arm of the law. And the new trailer for season two might be enough to have you binge on season one.

Yes, Hardy has taken a role in the second season and gone all beardy with it, and while the teaser shamelessly borrows the music used in all the promos for "True Detective," hey, whatever works, right? As for plot details, they seem to be hard to come by at this point, but just know that Steven Knight ("Locke," "Eastern Promises") is a writer on the show, and so it should be pretty damn compelling stuff. Especially if it got Hardy to make a detour to the small screen (and don’t forget he’s reteaming with Knight on another series, "Taboo," next year).

No U.K. airdate yet, but "Peaky Blinders" will drop this fall. The Weinstein Company have the U.S. rights, but no word on what their plans are. Watch below.
